The Spy Who Loved Me
The Spy Who Loved Me
‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ is the ninth novel in Ian Fleming’s James Bond series. The story follows Bond as he takes a holiday after the events of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
While on this supposed vacation, however, Bond is contacted by his superior and several other characters to come back to London in order to investigate what seems like a top-secret project that has resulted in the disappearance of several British secret agents.
The novel takes a departure from the normal Bond novel narrative, in that it is told through the first person of a young Canadian woman, Vivienne Michel.
