Journey into the Center of the Earth

An eccentric German scientist, Professor Lidenbrock, comes into possession of a mysterious runic manuscript from the Viking Age. The message is decoded revealing the cryptic location of a passage into the center of the earth. The rune takes Professor Lidenbrock, his nephew Axel and their guide Hans into the inactive volcano known as Snaefellsjokull, in Iceland.

As they descend into the center of the earth, they soon discover lifeforms beyond their wildest imaginations. Disoriented and with limited supplies, the trio must content against pre-historic predators, and the cruelty of a subterranean mother nature. Will the group be able to over come these challenges and bring their scientific discoveries back to human civilization?
